GUIDED LEARNING E-PORTFOLIO

PET VACCINATION PASSPORT
A booklet for owners to keep a record of their pet's vaccination schedule, as well as for them to learn more about vaccinations.
WHAT IS GUIDED LEARNING?
Guided Learning is a subject that relies heavily on self-directed learning. Students are able to choose a project that they would like to embark on based on their interests and passions. This gives students a chance to work on areas where they want to get involved in, but might otherwise not have the opportunity to. Students are responsible and have to take ownership of their own projects, with some guidance from an assigned Learning Facilitator.
AIM OF MY PROJECT
I want to create a document that will be beneficial and easy to use for both vets and pet owners, and that will provide pet owners with accurate information about pet vaccinations, as well as with a space for their pet's vaccination records.
WHY THIS PROJECT?
Currently, each clinic has their own vaccination record booklet, if any at all. Hence, there is no standardization and it is extremely troublesome for pet owners, especially if they decide to change clinics. In this case, the pet would probably have more than one booklet, making it difficult for owners to keep track of their pet's vaccination history and schedule. Hence, I decided to design a booklet that can be used throughout Singapore by all vet clinics and pet owners.
